When he was a young kid he ran around half-naked and swung on blinds. He was always in detention and never trusted with anything by anyone. Nobody in his school believed that this hyperactive boy would become a winner of the Emmy Award. The name of that boy with ADHD is a celebrity carpenter Ty Pennington – the winning team leader of ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. "Who would have guessed that as an adult I'd juggle so many things at the same time?" he says, referring to his ability to use power tools, recreate rooms, and design his own accessory line for Sears.
